Operational Manager
Permanent Opportunity for an Operational Manager

The Role:
- Schedule product deliveries for a large fleet of trucks and manage the associated team of up to 30 people.
- Your flexible and enthusiastic approach will ensure strong leadership and motivation.
- You enjoy being hands on, (when needed) thrive under pressure, and work with your team to find solutions to the day to day challenges, whilst ensuring safe work practice
- Be prepared to work long hours with Flexible start & finish times.
- You will have strong understanding of the transport industry and be able to work Saturdays.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Experience within the Transport and Logistics Industries and working in a similar/equivalent role (3+ years)
- Sound knowledge of freight handling
- Knowledge of various WMS systems, Microsoft Office, excel, SAP ESSENTIAL
- Excellent people skills with the ability to lead, communicate and supervise people to get the allocated task completed;
- Working knowledge of CoR
- Forklift license required (only for when required to assist)
Salary $80k-$100k depending on experience

Diesel mechanic
This position vacant for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to work in the road transport industry. The successful applicant will be working on heavy vehicles, trailers and light vehicles. This is a permanent full time position. Recent heavy vehicle experience is essential.
Applicants need to have the following skills to be successful in this role:

Interstate Drivers – MC
Key aspects we are looking for:
- MC License with MINIMUM 2 years MC experience
- QLD Driver report
- BFM Certification or willing to get it
- No fuss on where we send you
- Overnight express from time to time
- Able to stay away for up to 2 weeks at a time
- Knowledge of Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne.
